Fulbright Good Works webinar

National parks around the world are treasured for their scenic vistas and recreational opportunities. But, they are underused as places for science communication and storytelling.

Peri Sasnett takes you behind the scenes at Glacier National Park to learn how she and her team are trying to change that with their podcast, Headwaters.

This webinar is brought to you by Fulbright New Zealand and is hosted in collaboration with US-based Fulbright alumna and University of Canterbury graduate Peri Sasnett.

Peri came to New Zealand in 2012 as part of her Fulbright scholarship, and earned her Masters in Geology from the University of Canterbury.

She is drawn to the intersection of science and society and works to make science accessible to wider audiences through digital media, written narratives, and personal connections.

Her experience includes science communication and outreach work with the National Park Service, particularly long-form audio storytelling and videography.

This webinar is open to anyone, and there will be time for a Q&A after.

The event is free but you need to register.
